How to Store Hair Oil:

Proper storage protects the oil from the elements that cause it to degrade, such as heat, light, and air. 

• Cool, Dark Place: Store the bottle in a cabinet, drawer, or a specialized wooden box away from direct sunlight and heat sources (like a stove or sunny window). A consistent room temperature is ideal.
• Airtight Container: Always seal the bottle tightly immediately after use to minimize exposure to oxygen, which causes oxidation and shortens the oil's shelf life.
• Keep it Dry and Clean: Avoid getting any water or unsterilized items (like dirty fingers) into the bottle, as moisture can introduce bacteria and lead to spoilage.
• Label and Date: Write the date you opened the oil on the label to keep track of its freshness. Most body oils last for 1 year when stored correctly.
• Refrigeration (Optional): Some carrier oils benefit from refrigeration to last longer, particularly delicate ones. Allow refrigerated oil to return to room temperature before use
