To use a shampoo bar effectively, thoroughly wet your hair, create a lather either in your hands or directly on your scalp, massage it in, and rinse all of the product out completely. Proper storage of the bar between uses is also essential for longevity. 

 

Step-by-Step Guide:

• Wet Hair Thoroughly: Ensure your hair is completely saturated with warm water. This helps activate the shampoo and creates a better lather.
• Lather the Bar: You have two main options for creating lather:
  • Palm-Lather Method (Gentler, recommended for damaged/color-treated hair): Rub the shampoo bar between your wet hands for 15-20 seconds to create a rich foam, then apply the lather to your scalp.
  • Direct Application Method (Good for thick or oily hair): Gently rub the bar directly onto your scalp in small, circular motions, focusing on the roots. A few swipes are usually enough as the bars are highly concentrated.
• Massage and Distribute: Use your fingertips to massage the lather into your entire scalp using gentle, circular motions. For long or thick hair, work in sections to ensure even coverage, and let the lather naturally flow down the lengths of your hair rather than scrubbing the ends directly.
• Rinse Completely: This is crucial to avoid a waxy or dull feeling. Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear and your hair feels "squeaky clean." The rinsing process should take longer than the washing.
• Condition: Follow up with our conditioner or your regular conditioner, applying it from mid-length to the ends, and rinse with cool water to help seal the hair cuticle and add shine.
